Folio, rebacked calf, title page repaired, some foxing, and slight damp- and dust-staining, Lacks the portrait of Chaucer and the initial blank leaf, scattered spotting throughout, dampstaining to most upper corners/upper margins, some soiling and marking, title extensively repaired in inner and lower margin, and with large hole top right affecting woodcut image, 23 leaves towards beginning with worming in lower margin repaired occasionally affecting a catchword,
