17 hand-coloured engraved plates from Edward's 'Natural History of Birds', and 2 hand-coloured engraved plates from Albin's 'Natural History of Birds' mounted on inserted blank leaves, accompanied by neat manuscript descriptions, together with 6 original watercolours of birds, one signed 'Maccaw from Carrolines Albin fecit' and another 'Angola Parrot Albin Dellin 1746', some spotting to 'Angola Parrot', contemporary quarter calf, one plate creased and slightly rubbed, other occasional spotting, watercolour of ?crested cockatoo loose, frayed with some loss, split at fold, and mounted, some rubbing and soiling to boards
