First edition , 2 volumes, 4to, 10 engraved plates, one map hand-coloured in outline, contemporary red cloth, uncut, occasional light spotting, one leaf with repaired tear, map creased at edge, neatly rebacked, modern endpapers, corners bumped; Sir, Henry Charles Ceylon and the Cingalese. First edition, 2 volumes, 8vo, half-title in volume 1 (not called for in vol.2), 2 tinted lithographed frontispiece views, plain lithographed map of Ceylon, 8 wood-engraved plates, advertisement leaf at end of each volume, original decorative cloth, spine heads repaired, some wear; Queyroz, Fernao de.
