First edition, second issue, folio, [14], 276, 271-284, engraved title, woodcuts, front free endpaper misbound after title, large stain to A4, lacking F3 [replacement in manuscript], inner hinges repaired with black tape, title page trimmed at upper and lower edge [previous ink inscription cut from top], repairs to some edges [including previous worm damage from Hh3 onwards], ink marginalia throughout, previous ink inscription scored through on colophon, contemporary panelled calf, rebacked, bookplate
