Versus Tennysonianos Franklini cenotaphio inscriptos. Cambridge: Deighton, Bell, 1882. 8vo, original cloth gilt, inner hinge split; with various manuscripts taped in to include; Tennyson, Alred, Lord Manuscript note regarding his epitaph on Franklin's memorial in Westminster Abbey "NOT HERE:.... TOWARD NO EARTHLY POLE". It looks much better this way & if I recollect right many of your abbey epitaphs are in captials. Please explain my wishes to the sculptor," unsigned, undated, on Farringford headed paper, with an additional note explaining that this note was originally sent by Tennyson to Dean Stanley and then to Miss Mary Drummond of Megginch, initialed and dated 21 Nov. 1883; Franklin, Sir John Part of an autograph letter signed, from Sir John Franklin, [dated 1839 to A.P. Stanley], second page only, outer section torn and now loose, with autograph letter signed from Mary Drummond of Megginch presenting the section of Franklin manuscript to her uncle William; with 4 other manuscripts taped in including 2 from J.C. Burkitt
