Footnote
Note: A comprehensive collection of the works of John Le Carré, the nom de plume of David John Moore Cornwell. A former employee of MI5 & Mi6, Le Carré has written 24 novels, with the latest, Agent Running in the Field, due to be released on 15th October 2019. Le Carré's third novel, The Spy who came in from the Cold (1963) became an international best-seller and attracted some controversy in the depiction of western espionage methods as morally dubious. More recently, Le Carré's The Night Manager and The Little Drummer Girl have become critically acclaimed television adaptations.
Alongside many first editions of John Le Carré's novels, this collection includes several proof and limited editions, which are often difficult to come by. Only 100 copies of the limited signed edition of The Pigeon Tunnel were produced, whilst Our Game is a first edition first impression of the work and is included with its unusual cancelled dustwrapper.
