Rossini", together with a collection of photographs signed by famous violinists, also inscribed by Rossini on the verso ("Souvenir de Reconnaissance offert a Mr Ster[n]berg Hermann, Paris. G. Rossini 1866"), by Carjat of Paris, photographer's device on verso - together with seven carte-de-visite photographs of violinists, signed and inscribed on the versos by Joachim, Vieuxtemps, Auer, Guadagnini and Lucien Vieuxtemps, with images of Servais and another unsigned, to the violinist Hermann Sternberg, 9 items in all, all unframed, each c.10.5 x 6cm, by Hering, Petit, Mulnier, Saedeler and others, Paris, London & Brussels, 1861-1868
