Manuscript, 297 leaves., usually recto only, with some notes on facing verso, by Stalkartt, inscribed on endpaper "Walter H.S. Stalkartt, Edinburgh University, December 1887. Notes on Diseases of the Eyes. (A. Robertson)", and loosely inserted, 16pp. by Stalkett, HMS Ajax, on Syphilis, old roan notebook, lettered on spine "Eye Diseases. A. Robertson", binding worn, cover detached, lacks part of spine

Note: Douglas Moray Cooper Lamb Argyll Robertson FRSE (1837 - 1909) was a Scottish ophthalmologist and surgeon. Argyll Robertson pupil is named after him.
