Mixed edition, 5 volumes, 8vo, volumes 1 and 2 signed and inscribed to Sir John McNeill "In recollection of former days" from Queen Victoria, in 1875 and 1877, volumes 3-5 inscribed but with another signature, contemporary teracotta morocco with elaborate Greek key gilt tooling and gilt doublures by John MacLaren & Son, Edinburgh, some foxing throughout, covers slightly rubbed in places (5)
