London: Ackermann & Co., [1845-7, or Willis and Sotheran, 1857]. 37 hand-coloured lithographs after R. R. McIan by L. Dickinson and others, approx. 36 x 26cm, on thick wove paper, heightened in gum arabic, all tipped along top edges into card window-mounts, most plates with sewing-holes along right-hand edges (concealed by mounts), several with imprints shaved, a couple (e.g. Mac Gregor) with small paint-splashes (presumably printing-shop accidents), a few (e.g. Mac Intosh, Clanranald, Macdonald of Glenco) spotted.
