Arabic manuscript in black ink on polished laid paper, approx. 283 ff., 17 x 11.8cm, naskh script, 15 lines to the page, illuminated opening spread incorporating floral headpieces, text within gold borders throughout, surah-headings in white thulth script on gold ground, roundel ayah-markers in gold, rubricated recitation markings, polychromatic floral juz' markers with penwork extensions to margins, contemporary dark red morocco filigree binding, waqf inscriptions, front board and first 8 leaves detached, opening spread smudged and soiled, f.8 torn at corner not affecting text, occasional smudging and soiling elsewhere.
