Footnote
Note: Lettice Barbara Hay Shaw lived from 1887-1904, passing away aged 17 and leaving behind a remarkable amount of writings. This copy of her work is notable owing to the number of letters and autograph poems by Hay Shaw loosely inserted, written over a number of years with the handwriting developing from that of a small child to that of an older teenager.
