Description
London: R. Bowyer, 1801-1804-1803. Folio (465 x 318mm.), three parts in one volume, 96 hand-coloured aquatint plates (comprising: Egypt 48 plates; Palestine 24 plates; Ottoman Empire 24 plates), 19th century green straight-grained morocco, gilt tooled with a border of discs surrounding a central cottage-roof type pattern, doublures over yellow watered silk endpapers, in a custom made case, bookplates, a little offsetting, occasional very light spotting and browning, case rubbed with some elements lacking [Abbey Travel 369, this copy has the bookplate of J.R. Abbey]
