Note: In the late 1890s and early 1900s, Bedford Lemere set out to photograph the interiors of British country houses and civic buildings. In total, Lemere is thought to have produced around 100,000 images, creating 'catalogues' to display the architectural trends of the day. Examples of Bedford Lemere Photographs and Cyanotypes can be found in important public collections such as the V&A and the Paul Mellon Centre for British Art.
