50 albumen prints, c.1890-1910, including The Grand Hotel Yokohama, Public Gardens Yokohama, The Grave of Tokugawa Shogun leyasu, Garden of Dainichido at Nikko, street scenes by Kimbei, Church-Yard of Kurcdani Kyoto, Nagasaki (possibly by Hikoma); and others, in a contemporary black lacquer album with painted ivory onlays in the design of two geese, and delicately painted decoration depicting a moon and pond, the reverse with a gilt painted sparrow, bamboo and snake design, with a renewed black calf spine, and original box (worn and split)
