Second edition, second issue, with "skinking" at p.263, line 13, half-title, engraved frontispiece portrait by Beugo after Nasmyth, straight-grained black morocco, triple gilt lined borders round sides, gilt panelled spine gilt edges, by Stikeman, with the gilt morocco booklabels of Beverly Chew and Jerome Kern
