First edition, 8vo, red morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe (binder's stamp to rear doublures), with gilt tooling to covers showing the faces of Jekyll and Hyde, spine banded in 6 compartments with gilt lettering and tooling, a.e.g., a couple of small ink marks to pp.56-7, ownership signature dated 1886 to half-title, some very slight rubbing to covers, slipcase [Prideaux, 17]
