Grevel & Co., [1889?] 33.5 x 22.5cm, comprising eight chromolithographed concertina panels (6 pop-up images), first pop-up lacking figure of man riding a jumping horse, in the second pop-up the red rim has been trimmed from clown's hoop, the fifth pop-up lacks the acrobats' props and sections of limbs, the sixth pop-up is lacking the female acrobat and the male acrobat's hand, fourth panel becoming detached, a little soiling, some wear and rubbing, some pencil scribbles to upper cover

Note: Munich-born illustrator, Lothar Meggendorfer (1847-1925) created and published some 200 movable books. His Internationaler Zircus has been called the 'most stunning' of these titles.
