Note: "The work by which he will be longest remembered and one quite unique in its kind" (DNB.) This is the second edition of his Poetic Survey round Birmingham, 1800, without the poem, but with twice as many plates. The plates include views of the streets, offices, factories and warehouses, besides list of tradesmen, reproductions of trade cards, etc., all finely engraved.
