"Annesley a Tale of the West, edited by Andrew Blennerhasset Esq. Barrister at Law, London, 1837". Manuscript novel of c. 80,000 words on 132 folio leaves, 4to, contemporary vellum-backed boards, very legible, very clean, occasional corrections

Note: The novel is set in the West country in the period 1801-10, and concerns the Evans family of High Leigh and Ashgrove. According to the preface by the "editor" the manuscript was handed in to his Chambers in Middle Temple by an unknown person.
