G.V.L. …emendata … Basle: Eusebii Episcopii opera ac impensa, 1582, folio, printer's device on the title-page and on the verso of the last leaf, woodcut initials, the text of the Ethica and the Charcters of Theophrastus, etc. in two columns of Latin and Greek, contemporary blind tooled and stamped calf over wooden boards, rebacked, edges worn, title-page with couple of early ownership inscriptions, water staining at the inner corner of first few signatures, outer margins of the first couple of signatures frayed, some discolouration and spotting, couple of single worm holes in the second half of the work, margins of last few signatures stained
