Description
A Quaker marriage certificate for the marriage of Daniell Browning and Isabella Holmes, in the parish of St Joseph's, Barbados, 1 page, integral blank, signed by eight witnesses, 3 October 1664.

Note: This would appear to be the earliest Quaker marriage certificate recorded for Barbados and a very early Barbados marriage certificate. The earliest lisiting of any Quakers on the island in Brandow's Genealogies of Barbados Families is 1677. British sailors who landed on Barbados in 1625 found the island uninhabited, and British settlers began to arrive in 1627-28.
