Footnote
Note: "One of the most beautiful books Turnebus ever printed: its rarity and intrinsic value are equal to its elegance" (Dibdin.) Oppian composed his elegant Greek verses on hunting and fishing in the late 2nd century. They were not edited for publication until 1515 and 1517 when Junta and Aldus both produced editions.
