Paris: chez Guillaume le Be, 1647, oblong 4to, 40 leaves, additional wood engraved title with the title in a large decorative cartouche, 35 full page wood engravings with accompanying text, modern boards ruled in red and lettered in black, marbled endpapers, waterstain to top corner of the last 10 leaves and a few small tissue repairs, mostly marginal but that on folio 30 just into the engraved area

Note: Cousin's beautiful and celebrated woodcut drawing book was intended for the use draughtsmen and artists. Brunet mentions editions of 1571 and 1589 which cannot be substantiated. The Bibliotheque National printed catalogue cites editions of 1595, 1642, 1647 and 1656. The British Library has only an edition of 1671.
