An impression of this work is included in Avant-Garde British Printmaking 1914-1960 by Frances Carey and Antony Griffiths as Terry Frost, First Silkscreen, 1953 (p. 185, cat. no. 169). The British Museum holds a version of this work attributed to Terry Frost, acquired from Frost directly. We are also aware of two further impressions of this subject, one signed with initials DAM and one Denis Mitchell. It is thought that both Frost and Mitchell had access to the same screens in the studio of Denis Mitchell in St Ives and that the two artists independently produced prints using the same screens.
