Two albums of photographs of ex-partriot life in China in the early 20th Century 1910-1940's, various military images showing an international presence in China 1912-1915, a series showing the restoration of the Ching Dynasty 1916-1917 including the funeral of Yuan Shih-k'ai, later images of Peking including the Liu-li-Ch'ang Fair 1940, the Chinese games, Peking Club Skating Carnival, the British Embassy, other images showing various trips across China and Japan in 1930's -1940's.  Various sizes, both albums quarter morocco, one approx 30cm wide by 25cm high, worn, second approx 47.5cm wide by 28cm high, some staining to boards with 15 larger loose leaves (2)
