Footnote
It is not unusual for Patek Philippe watches from this early era to not be signed on the dial, as this was generally reserved for the retailer. In addition, although clearly separating themselves from others in terms of the quality of their movements, it wasn't until the turn of the 20th century Patek Philippe started to gain notoriety and signed their case, dial and movements, using individual numbers for the case and movement.
