Footnote
During this period Bulova watches used a simple date code on the reverse of the watch with numbers and letters, M=1960s, N=1970s. So a code of M8 would mean the watch was made in 1968. According to first-hand accounts, Bulova, with their new electronic tuning-fork technology, were very expensive when released by comparison to mechanical watches.
