Note: This group of paintings were given to the current vendor by the artist in 1969, when he was in Edinburgh having treatment at the the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following brain surgery. It features a selection of work pre and post graduation. There is a signed declaration to this effect from the vendor included in the lot, dated 26/11/69.
Khan is now best known for his sculptural work, with comissions throughout India, and work included in collections internationally.
