Peter Winchell Sager was a Canadian sculptor and printmaker whose work embraced abstraction from an early stage. Based in Paris and London between 1947 and 1952, he exhibited internationally and was included in the ICA's landmark Young Sculptors exhibition in 1952, alongside an exceptional group of artists several of whom were later associated with the influential Geometry of Fear movement. His work is represented in major public collections including the National Gallery of Canada, the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the Brooklyn Museum, New York.
