Here is a beautiful example of a solution to a functional and mathematical problem: to make tables which could be stacked. As opposed to the usual suspended small tables, they were of the same height and they were made in sizes which allowed them to be placed end to end in spite of the fact that they were stackable. The construction is simple, elegant and strong…'
