“Metal is very forgiving. If you make a mistake, you can cut it, rebend it, weld it back together — no problem. You can’t really do that with wood or ceramic. There’s a kind of elasticity in steel, a versatility and strength, and then there’s the way you join it — with fire — which I found incredibly fascinating.” (Tom Dixon)
