Note:Ovidiu Maitec was born in Arad, Romania in 1925. Like his co-patriot Constantin Brancusi he focuses on the materials used and their application to form. Maitec's work can be seen at Kettle's Yard, Cambridge; Jim Ede bought works by the artist especially for that setting. Maitec has also been exhibited by Richard Demarco at the Edinburgh Festival.
