the plain lock stamped with an armourer’s mark, the three stage barrel engraved at the breech deeply cut and chiselled with lattice work foliage on a punched ground hexagonal for the next stage, the flared muzzle chiselled into five raised scales, the full stock of pale wood with a curved slender butt with a heavy steel butt plate and the trigger guard cut and shaped into four sections, with brass inventory disc with number 1087
