helmet of one piece hemispherical skull, embossed with roped ribs and with top ring, pointed fixed fall pierced for a movable nasal bar secured by a wing-headed screw, bluntly pointed neck guard and four upward lapping lames, triangular pierced ear pieces, domed steel lining rivets and turned borders, bullet proof breast plate showing the mark of a musket ball, tassets of seven lames are associated and etched with foliate decoration
