Description
Hand-wound 15 jewel movement, black dial with radium baton indexes and 12 numeral, subsidiary seconds, steel index hands, rectangular steel case with deco style initials CWH rotating withing staybrite steel outer, the inner bezel stamped 679, the middle case stamped 679 to the end, the inside case numbered with Brevet S.D.G.D, Brev.Dep.Liv Pays, Patent Applied For, on black strap with additional associated stainless steel expanding bracelet. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed E.Gubelin.

Offered for the first time at auction and with only two owners from new, this watch was apparently purchased by the consignor's uncle in the 1930's.
