Footnote
According to our research, this is the first example of a Bremont Supermarine S500 ‘Mine Warfare’ edition of 50 to be offered at auction. The 1975-2020 on the caseback refers to the Naval Mine Warfare division being established in 1975, then in 2020, Portsmouth received its first monument featuring the mine warfare logo, dedicated to those sailors that hunt, and dispose of mines.
