Footnote
Launched in 1958, the reference 3418 was one of Patek Phillipe's first models with specialised anti-magnetic movements, only released in stainless steel, the model was probably intended for use by scientists and engineers. It is believed fewer than 100 examples of the Ref.3418 were manufactured over a four year period. The model is also notable for its patented ‘convertible’ bracelet attachment that removed the requirement for a spring bar.
