The oval-cut aquamarine, accented by brilliant-cut diamonds, within a textured cube design setting and band, maker's mark JAD, ring size K½
Footnote
This ring features two of John Donald's more characteristic designs: the textured cubes which he used to form the gallery and bands of works, as well as the raised “crown” design for the setting of the aquamarine and diamonds. Both designs were emblematic to Donald's style.
