Footnote
The Ahronsberg Brothers (Judah, Albert & Lionel) were Birmingham based jewellers and silversmiths. They first registered their mark with the Assay Office in April 1896. Originally located on Albion Street, Birmingham, they subsequently moved to the Century Buildings, Summerhill Road, Birmingham. That site still stands although is believed to be derelict at present. The Ahronsberg brothers changed their name to "Albury Brothers' in 1916, at the height of the First World War. The firm continued to operate well into the late 20th century.
