Description
the 12½ inch breakarch brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, date aperture, the centre mask with foliate engraving, pierced gilt putto mask spandrels, the arch with a painted moonphase and the signature to a silvered plate above the arch, the later case surmounted by a high moulded shaped arch over a caddy top flanked by two brass ball and eagle finials, the dial flanked by free brass mounted fluted columns, the crossbanded pointed arch trunk door flanked by matching recessed fluted Doric columns, on a square plinth base with canted angles, twin train weight driven movement striking to a bell
