the 13 inch breakarch brass dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, centre mask with foliate engraving and silvered date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial above, pierced floral spandrels, the arch with a signature roundel, the case with broken swan necked pediment with brass George III portrait roundels centred by a turned urn finial, the dial flanked by brass mounted free fluted columns, the shaped trunk door flanked by quarter Doric fluted columns, on a panelled square plinth base, the twin train weight driven movement striking on a bell
