circa 1935-40, with open mouth snarling pose with slight tilt to the right, on a typical large ebonised shield, with ‘Van Ingen Mysore’ ivorine label to the left edge, also stamped to verso of the shield, remnants of paper care label and pencil inscribed number ‘23796’
