An early 19th century mahogany eight day longcase clock
by Jos Tabraham, Waltham Abbey
the triple chain movement striking on a series of bells and a coiled gong, the engraved brass dial with cast spandrels and silver chapter ring with Roman numerals, silvered chime/silent dial to the arch, the case rosewood crossbanded overall, the hood with swan neck pediment and turned finials above arched glazed door flanked by fluted Corinthian columns, the case with triple arched trunk door flanked by fluted quarter column angles, on panelled base with bracket feet
