the triple train movement striking on chime bars, the brass dial with cast spandrels and centre, silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, strike/silent, chime/silent and Whittington chime/Westminster chime dials to the arch, the hood with swan neck pediment and brass ball finials above marquetry acanthus scroll spandrels and arched glazed door flanked by fluted Corinthian columns, the trunk door with bevelled oval glazed panel surrounded by crossbanded marquetry acanthus scroll panels and with paterae above and below, on moulded crossbanded panelled base with marquetry basket of flowers, on bracket feet
