the triple train movement striking on chime bars, the engraved brass dial with cast spandrels and silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, chime/silent and chime on 8 bells/Cambridge chimes dials, painted moonphase dial to the arch, the hood with swan neck pediment above foliate carved spandrels and arched glazed door flanked by fluted columns, the case with carved and glazed trunk door, enclosing a mercury filled pendulum, flanked by fluted chamfered corners, on moulded panelled base with gadrooned edge, on spreading bracket feet with shaped apron
