of Louis XV style, the serpentine rectangular top carved in low relief with central panel of flowers flanked by four panels of acanthus leaf, within moulded border with shell carved corners, above shaped frieze centred on the two long sides by an oval profile medallion of a woman, flanked by floral sprays, on shell and acanthus carved cabriole legs with scroll feet, 18th century base with later top, restorations
