the twin train movement striking on a bell, the brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, brass cast spandrels, the hood with domed pediment flanked by pointed ball finials, above arched glazed door flanked by turned columns, the case with arched moulded trunk door decorated with chinoiserie scenes of figures in buildings and landscapes, the panelled base similar, shaped apron,on bracket feet
