James Weir, Glasgow 1894, of cylindrical form, embossed decoration throughout with thistles, budding fruit and floral scrolls, four Classical face masks to body, with stylised shield shaped cartouches to either side, one with monogram above 4th April 1895 and embossed calligraphy Tobacco to the other, raised on four bun feet, the pull off lid of stepped domed form, with a knopped finial, similar embossed decoration, gilt interior to both
