J E Terrey & Co., London 1843, of baluster cylindrical form, heavily embossed vine and floral detail throughout, vacant cartouche to either side of body, panel to body with a heavily embossed battle scene, the hinged lid with cast eagle finial, leaf clasped handle, raised on a textured spreading foot with cast scrolling border
